Top 5 Walt Disney World Snacks

Over the last couple of years, Walt Disney World has made a name for itself as a top food destination. In addition to the resort’s popular food-focused events like the Flower and Garden Festival and the International Food & Wine Festival, guests can find a variety of delicious – and affordable! – snacks everyday throughout the park.

If you’re planning a visit to Walt Disney World, be sure to check out our list of the top 5 must-try snacks!

1. Snack: DOLE WHIP® | Location: Magic Kingdom | Cost: $4.49

This fan favorite pineapple-flavored soft serve is a must during the park’s hot summer days. It has a tropical, refreshing flavor without being too sweet. Found at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland, guests can choose from a cup of the classic pineapple soft serve, vanilla, or a swirl.

2. Snack: Mickey Pretzel | Location: Magic Kingdom | Cost: $5.69

Another Disney snack staple is the Mickey Pretzel. This warm, Mickey-shaped pretzel comes with a side of cheese sauce and can be purchased at The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland. Although this snack may seem ordinary, if you’re searching for Disney nostalgia, you can’t beat this classic!

3. Snack: School Bread | Location: Epcot | Cost: $3.49

For a truly unique snack, head to the Norway pavilion in Epcot and visit the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. Here you will find School Bread which is a cardamom bun filled with a creamy vanilla custard, and topped with a sweet glaze and toasted coconut flakes. Many describe it has a cross between a dinner roll and a cinnamon roll! It’s also fairly large and can easily feed two, which at less than $4, makes it a great value!

4. Snack: Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich | Location: Epcot | Cost: $4.69

The entire France pavilion is a treasure-trove of delicious eats, but for a refreshing on-the-go snack, try the Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich in L'Artisan des Glaces. Offered in chocolate or seasonal flavors, you can enjoy a blend of rich ice cream and sorbet inside a large, crispy macaron. C'est magnifique!

5. Snack: Night Blossom | Location: Animal Kingdom Cost: $5.99

Pandora – The World of Avatar is an incredible new land in Disney’s Animal Kingdom that has to be seen to be believed! With its floating mountains, bioluminescent plants, and high-tech immersive attractions, it can be easy for guests to forget about its great snack options. At Pongu Pongu our must-try pick is the Night Blossom beverage. This icy drink features sweet layers of green apple and purple desert pear limeade slush, topped with passion fruit Boba balls. It’s both fun to drink and take selfies with!

Honorable Mention: Dark Side Chicken and Waffles | Location: Hollywood Studios | Cost: $11.49 Although technically a full meal, this delicious Star Wars themed entrée deserves an honorable mention. It combines Disney’s classic chicken nuggets with all-new Darth Vader waffles and a side of maple syrup. It’s so good that it may just bring you over to the dark side.
